I live in Central Washington with my wife and daughter. I garden, play guitar, and write short fiction. I am currently working on a psychological thriller novella.
I have worked in electrical systems and controls for nearly 20 years. I opened Nomad Games and Hobbies with a friend, in Lynnwood in 2018, a game and hobby retail store I ran until pulling back in at the beginning of 2020. Recently, I launched NCWFiber, an ISP running on the PUD network in North Central Washington, fingers-crossed for wild success.
The design work came the same way most things come to me: sideways, out of necessity, and then seriously. I have been building and refining my process ever since, filling in gaps formally and informally as they come up. The projects on this site reflect that, some are tools I built because I needed them, some are art, some are experiments that turned into something worth keeping.
